Official Rules and Regulations

1. SPONSOR: Dick Hannah Dealerships (the "Sponsor") will, subject to compliance with these official rules and regulations, be awarding the designated winner of the 2010-2011 Drive For Excellence-Drive to Excel High School Education Initiative, a 2011 Honda CR-Z or $15,000. Additional prizes may be offered and awarded by promotional sponsors during and/or at the conclusion of this initiative, at their discretion and according to their individual contest rules.

2. TO ENTER: Entrant must be 18-years of age or older, (or the parent or guardian of a full-time student 14 to 18 years of age by June 29, 2011, who is) a full-time student enrolled in one of the participating Clark County, Washington, high schools found in the Addendum to these official rules and regulations. Entrant must become a Facebook Fan of dick Hannah Honda by joining the facebook page at www.facebook.com/ Dick Hannah Honda, complete the entry form, and submit it by mail or e-mail to Dick Hannah Honda, ATTN: Paul Dicker, P.O. Box 1679, Vancouver, WA 98668, or pauld@dickhannah.com. Entries must be received by 5 PM, July 8, 2011. Sponsor not responsible for lost or delayed entries. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted.

Entrants who submit their entry along with their first-semester 2010-2011 grade reports will be eligible for early- entry status and able to enter and win Initiative-long contests/prizes from the time their completed entry is received.

Entrant or parent/guardian of an under-aged student-winner, agrees to accept legal title to the vehicle or the prize money (upon verification of eligibility) and be responsible for all taxes associated with the prize. Dealership is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for the failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with the sender or the Sponsor.

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to full-time students attending the schools listed in the addendum to this document and meeting the age requirements stated above. Contest is NOT open to the children of employees of the sponsors, employees of the sponsors, nor each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, or advertising agencies, nor the immediate families of and any persons domiciled with such employees. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law.

4. SELECTION OF WINNER: A random drawing will be held in July 2011 (exact date, time and location to be determined and based on location availability) from all of the eligible entrants who have provided a copy of first and second semester transcripts reflecting the student's name, class, and Grade Point Averages meeting the requirements of either boosting the second-semester GPA over the first-semester GPA by a half- a-point or maintaining a 3.6 GPA or better for the 2010-2011 academic year. The drawing will be Conducted by representatives of Dick Hannah Honda. The winner must be present to win and will be subject to transcript verification prior to the transfer of ownership of the Honda CR-Z or the awarding of the $15,000 check if so chosen by the drawn winner.

If the winner is not present, another name will be drawn until a winner is present. All remaining entries will be held in the possession of Dick Hannah Honda, and in the event the drawn winner does not meet the requirements, another random drawing will be held at the offices of Dick Hannah Honda with the then drawn entrant being notified by phone. He/she will have 72-hours from the time of the phone call to respond and appear at the dealership and up to another 24-hours (Monday through Friday) to have his/her entry verified. If unqualified, another drawing will ensue until all qualifications are met and a winner declared. The winner may select the 2011 Honda CR-Z or a check for $15,000. The sole warranty on the vehicle shall be the manufacturer's new car warranty which shall be subject to compliance by the winner with all conditions of such warranty. DICK HANNAH HONDA makes no warranty on the vehicle, expressed or implied. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed.

5. ODDS AND RETAIL VALUE: Odds of winning the GRAND PRIZE are one (1) in the number of eligible entries received. The value of the CR-Z is $15,000.

6. WINNER ACCEPTANCE: The 2011 Honda CR-Z or $15,000, whichever is selected by the Winner, will be delivered at Dick Hannah Honda, 3321 NE Auto Mall Drive, Vancouver, WA, 98662. Vehicle will be released only upon presentation by winner of satisfactory proof of insurance and a valid driver's license. Winner will have up to 48-hours after award drawing to declare GRAND PRIZE choice.

With the exception of sales/use tax on the vehicle which will be paid by the Dealership, the Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and expenses including but not limited to luxury tax, registration, title and license fees, insurance, and other and other costs incurred in claiming, registering, and operating the vehicle, or claiming the monetary prize. Awarded vehicle will be used through the promotional period for demonstration purposes, and may have up to 5,000 miles on it. Winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be signed at Dick Hannah Honda before delivery of the selected GRAND PRIZE. Failure to sign the affidavit or release or to comply with any term or condition of these official rules and regulations, may, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, result in the Winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to an alternative Winner.

7. PARTICIPATION: Participation in the contest constitutes an agreement by each contestant to comply with these official rules and regulations. By entering, participants further agree to be bound by the terms relating to the use of the designated Facebook, including their Privacy Policies. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest as solely determined by the Sponsor. In the event the contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation of the contest, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the GRAND PRIZE based on the entries received before the termination date.

8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the contest, Entrant agrees that, except as otherwise provided by law, (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (2) any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to the actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the contest, but in no event attorney's fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any Entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

9. CONSTRUCTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these official rules and regulations, or the rights and obligations of any Entrant and the Sponsor shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Washington State or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Washington. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with the their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained herein.

10. GENERAL RELEASE: By entering the contest, contestants release the Sponsor and its respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, and representatives, partners, members, KPTV/KPDX/Meredith Corporation, and agents, from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights, of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light) except as allowed by law.
